Each Space Key contains a block made of advanced carbon-fire composite material, which was shipped to the International Space Station as part of a research project for 2019. After returning to Earth the block was inscribed with a QR codes that connect to the digital component in the Space Key.
Each of the five Space Keys features a different moment that occurs at different times when the Lamborghini Ultimae takes off towards the stars. Each of five images was shot by photographer Fabian Oefner and contains over 600 million pixels.
Oefner utilized a balloon with a camera to take each of the individual shots that were then merged to create the final image. The result is an out-of-this world photograph that captures both the beauty of the Earth as well as the futuristic, hyper-realistic image of the car rising from it. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned in the near future, however there isn't a specific date or time yet.
